André & the Swingers came to life in 2014, drawing from the members’ shared love of jazz standards and modern swing renditions of popular music. Lead by singer/actor André Terblanché, their vibrant and accessible style has made them very popular as a live music act at special events and festivals. Band members include Pieter van Helslandt (piano), Sibusiso Matsemela (double bass), Rikus Coetzee (saxophone & clarinet) and Kris Smit (drums).
